Under the current linux kernel rpm, CardBus bridges will not be found on the PCI bus, instead, the kernel reports a header type conflict and ignores the device. This bug was fixed in the 2.0.34 prepatches as of the middle of April. However, the current kernel rpm is based off an older prepatch.

RH 5.1: bug in /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit
