Hi all,
Well I'm in the process of looking at KDE for my windows manager. I like
the layout, but have a lot of questions that I haven't found answers for in
the documentation. I'll just ask a few of the initial ones I came up with.
1. I was trying to use the xterm windows in KDE, I think it's called kvt. I
noticed that basic unix commands like ls don't work. Why is that, and is
there another way to bring up just a basic xterm window?
2. How do I get to and look at other partitions?
3. How do I add other applications like Netscape and Applixware to the
menus?
These are just a few of the many questions I have. I'm still struggling with
getting kppp to work. It looks like it should be easy, but it just won't
make a good connection. I'll keep working on that.
I'd appreciate any help
