I'm no expert in these matters. This is the way I would proceed:
Pkug in the busmouse and boot the machine. When the console presents the
login promt move the mouse. You should see the mouse curser on the screen.
If you see this then all is well with the busmouse. Next I would look to
setting the mouse up for Xwindows. You can issue the command /use/sbin/
mouseconfig to bring up a box to set this mouse or use the other
xconfigurations to do this. I hope this helps. Cheers.
