the settings were all correct, but the connection is quite slow. The

Just got the thing and it works fine for Windoze. When I try to startup
the ISDN service I get a message that the resource is busy. Tried
following the howto's and have created the modules (running Kernel
2.2.12 and compiled ISDN
I suggest you use an external ISDN modem. It will
look to your system just like any other modem, and
it will work fine. I had that working in 5.3 very
nicely. Something else crashed the system, and I never
got it back.

apppreciate all the suggestions. I managed to get the dialer, et al,
working, but still dont have the two channels. The ppp-on,
ppp-on-dialer, options, and pap-secrets files were all created and setup
accordingly, but to no

I currrently use a Farallon Netopia ISDN modem which is virtually a clone of the 3Com.
That init string is at&fs60=64s71=1s80=1 which may also work in the 3Combut since

and now i can only get a single channel. I went to a webpage concerning

This is a great modem, I have been using one for the last 1 1/2 years
with out a hitch. I can't testify for its Linux usage as mine has been used
for NT/95 & beta 98 use, but the modem itself is great.

fine at 115.2K N-8-1. Unfortunately it's impossible to get "bonded"
128K as the PC ser
