Well, for home use you pretty much have two choices, the Pipeline 25 or
the Pipeline 15. The 15 is a pure terminal adapter and uses your serial
port just like an external modem. The 25 is a small-scale router capable
of handling half a dozen or so systems on a network. Obviously the
ability to do routing or IP-masquerading (NAT as Ascend calls it) is
unimportant if you are able to devote a Linux system full time to the
connection. The 25 is also somewhat more expensive, of course, but not
too much. You will of course not have to worry about throughput through
the serial port on the 25 like with the 15; unless you're using 56K ISDN
instead of 64K ISDN, the full 128Kbps will exceed your serial port
capacity which is only 110Kbps. So you will lose some data that way
(unless of course you're only using one channel!) The Pipeline 25 also
has the POTS jacks on the back, so you can plug regular phones and things
into the back of it, maybe that is useful to you.

In short, the P25 is better, but it's more expensive, and some of the
features you just won't need. Take your pick. :)
