- did you install samba using sambawhatever.rpm
- If you installed it using the rpm then all you have to do is modify
/etc/smb.conf then customize it
- If you have iinstalled samba using the targz file then you have to modif

Correct me if I'm wrong, but blocking ICMP completely isn't such a good

I compiled apache_1.3.12 on Redhat 6.2 and compiled suEXEC in, when I
start Apache it says:

Okay, I finally managed to get RH 6.2 installed and operating on an old
P90 to be used as a masquerade server. I had quite a time with the boot
image disks until I found the right one to use under the Anaconda
downloads.

It's a hauppage card. The sound card has an output cable that goes into the

the line in on the SBLive mixer, not the master volume, not the + & - keys

I use the custom install with RH6.1 and I configure the NIC at that point.
"It didn't work" is pretty vague problem description. Can you ping another
machine from the RH box?
By the way, netcfg may be an easier way to do the network configuration.

I have a RH 6.2 machine which I am having mail difficulties. I have an MX
record pointing to this machine as a mail server. Whenever I send mail to an
account on the RH box from a remote host, I can see the remote mail relay
