Although running an update in the GUI does throw up a warning if a
package repository could not be verified, there is no later warning if
the user attempts to install a package from an unverified repository.

Thanks.
pbuilder-uml can easily be resurrected manually on user's side.

Ok, so I saw the new email to this bug and downloaded the
upstream 0.9.2 version and tried that.
It still fails in cpu detection, this time the
error message _is_ printed and it says:
Error : cannot open '/home/bjb/.pmk/pmkcpu.dat' : No such file or directory.
Error : failure in cpu detection.

Hi. I'm writing to all of the people who reported the
kdevelop/cvsservice crash late last year (#278233, #278370). I've tried
to reproduce this problem and I can't, and another user who initially
reported this problem has claimed that kdevelop no longer crashes when
using the CVS plugin.

The argument would be alphabetized home directory and SECURITY.
Also, is common practice in universities to have the /home folder of the

reassign 270716 festival
thanks mate
Hi. After a rather terrible delay I've gotten to looking at this bug.
Both the kate and konqueror plugins speak text by running "festival --tts"
and then supplying the text on stdin. It seems therefore that this
report should be reassigned to festival.

It seems the problem (for a fresh install) is that
the call to parse_cpu_data fails because the file
/usr/local/share/pmk/pmkcpu.dat does not exist on
a fresh install. (Why is the error message that
says "the file does not exist" commented out?)
