So now, you'd need to investigate a bit on what's going in firefox. Try looking into the Page Info dialog (Ctrl+I) to see if the detected encoding is correctly set to utf-8, if the character encoding in the view menu is correctly set to utf-8 as well, etc. Also try modifying or removing the font-family property in the previous file to see if it still works.
