9.04 amd64 on DualCore 4200+ 4 GB ram with load of 20% cpu cores, takes
3.0 - 4.0 seconds to respond to VolumeDown key. Fresh system, Gnome.

On start there is a "wizard", that asks for some "ktoon installation directory"
it is empty by default.

Ok, actually choosing anything allows to finish the "wizard"... but
1) it is not very visible on LCDs (the light-brown GUI enabled vs disabled
button)

When I swithch VT (alt-ctrl-F9 etc) between graphical ones then
1) after switch there is often garbage
2) the textures stored in memory (i.e. in 3d gam
The test is done after modprobing for aes.
I am not sure, perhaps the bug should be for the kernel?
Or am I doing something wrong, but the way above worked always (tested
on other distro)

Ah, cryptoloop was not polled in automagically when modprobing aes...
Hmm perhaps losetup could be a bit more verbose and hint user about lack
of cryptoloop...

I seen simmilar bug in Debian.
On Ubuntu I seen related (probably) bug, where some of the modules are
missing (like, Monitors&Display, and if I start Display module by hand I
get an empty window with no settings at all)

HMTL), then gaim/pidgin freezes for about 7-8 seconds (amd64 dualcore)

When I go to full screen mode (only recently, it worked a while ago!)
then a window with empty title appears in taskbar, and taskbar is visible on
top of window.
If I click on the taskbar entry, then taskbar hides, and all works
correct
