Public bug reported:

It seems that
  aes-cbc-essiv:sha256
encryption (as in manual man cryptsetup) stoped working in 8.04 Ubuntu.

I have partition (LUKS from cryptsetup) that works from Ubuntu 7.10 amd64, but
on Ubuntu 8.04 amd64
it says that kernel doesn't support this.

I did modprobe aes-x86_64 but it didn't helped. (

btw, http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=737348 seems to be a
NOT related bug (I guess)
