I'm trying with just 1 cpu (2nd is offline) and so far no crash (but X server seem to reset itself once anyway I think).
I use glx-new nvidia drivers btw. -- random lockups, screen off, USB keyboard stops working (numlock etc), sys-rq-b doesnt work.
