I've tried recompiling vpnc with openssl but that doesn't solve it.
I have vpnc working on one machine but that one uses vpnc 0.4.0 (not
upgraded from latest universe).

For some reason, /tmp had only 1024k (as shown in df -k) in the kernel
linux-image-2.6.27-4-generic, this created issues for installation.
linux-image-2.6.27-3-generic is OK

I had a hard hang today, and saw that the disk was thrashing. I was
forced to reset the laptop (couldn't log in text mode neither).
Looking at syslog, the only thing I saw was that the same messages were
printed. Not sure if it is a symptom or a consequence of another
problem.

Suddenly my keyboard and mouse stopped working. I wasn't doing anything
special (firefox + vinagre opened). This happened at least twice to me
in the past 2 weeks.

Today, resuming from suspend (albeit a longer one than usually, not sure
if that affects), didn't reproduce this problem. First time in a long
time. On the other side, this time wireless didn't come up and I had to

Fixed again with my local/bin/fixmouseaftersuspend ran after ssh'ding
into my machine.
Again, nothing special in dmesg that would indicate that the keyboard

This happened again. This time I was using CTRL+ALT+RIGHT to switch workspace.
I just triggered the key combination once but the desktop was switched from my
left worspace to my rightmost workspace (i.e. 3 workspaces to the right). and
got stuck there. The workspace switcher indicator that appear

I upgraded from feisty to gutsy yesterday and encountered the issue.
The workaround fixed it... for a day.
Today the old behavior is still there. I've tried changing it back,
stopping FF, restarting and reap

Switching to another profile (already existing) seemed to fix my issue.
At least one difference between the 2 profiles: font size by default are not
specified in this profile. On the other one I got serif /

I encoutner the same problem. This is a no go for upgrading
I suspect an issue with udev, so I did the followign:
1- plug USB stick
2- sudo udevmonitor on a terminal
3- eject USB stick
this gets displayed:

Installing linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-12-386 (through linux-image-386)
solves the prob
