Jean-Baptiste, to be frank I don't know about /tmp.

When I tried to look into why my kernel upgrade didn't work, I saw there
were some disk space issues. I didn't get it as normally I have only one
partition, to avoid these kind of issues. I did a df -k and saw there
was a strange /tmp partition with only 1M (1024k). I haven't created it.
And it doesn't appear now, after the reboot.

As I needed to get my machine to work, I just restarted the box, and ran
into the problem of my kernel not beeing bootable, which I've fixed by
using 2.6.27-3, force the installation of the kernel, and rebooted.

I've been using linux for more than 12 years, and that's the first time
I see something like that... If I see it again, I'll investigate and add
information.

Be free to close or put this issue on hold until I get more information.
Thanks for your time.
