I can confirm this bug. Resume was working at some point, after I had managed to make it work by fiddling with /etc/acpi-support and kernel options).
I've made a fresh install of jaunty and resume is broken again. I.e. resume appears to work but screen is blank and keyboard unresponsive. I will have to investigate if there's another way of getting it to work than my previous method.
