Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

Suddenly firefox tabs keep switching and looping. And the CPU is 100% (or more
on a double code).
I have a video that better shows the issue. I have to convert it to a smaller
format before attaching it.

This happens often (always?) when I am doing something with the keyboard,
usualy tab switching. I.e. it doesn't start on its own.
It's as if the event for tab switching was sent a million times, or as if
firefox got into a loop.

A consequence is that sometimes the keyboard becomes unresponsive (but not the
mouse).
I then kill firefox. I also often ssh into the machine, run my magic keyboard
script (cf https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/216927) to get access to the
keyboard again.

That's the 3rd issue with erratic keyboard/mouse/compiz behavior and I
wonder if the issue doesn't lie there instead of firefox.

** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
