My sentiments, exactly. I guess I got a defective 6.0. It never asked me
anything about a soundcard.
I installed it (6.0) months ago. I just turned sound on yesterday. That was
simply to ensure the card still worked

Simple, not only does it serve up my web pages, but it is my home Linux
desktop. One can do normal stuff with a Unix box as well as serve up

Going from RH6.0 to RH6.1 should not be a step backwards.

also capture packets and save them to a file, but it
won't let you look inside the packets.
Go to freshmeat.net and get 'ethereal'. It'll let you
look inside packets in real time, capture them to look at
them off-line, or look insi
