How about you just learn how to read and quit with the diatribes about 
the redhat installation process?  Read the "gotchas", it tells you 
*exactly* what to do to fix the printer/lp problem.

Sound support?  Did you run sndconfig yet?  I've done several RH 6.1 
installations and all the sound stuff I needed was loaded each and
every time.  Just like on RH 6.0 and 5.2, I had to run sndconfig to 
setup my sound card.
