C program compiles and runs on Solaris but not RH 5.0

I have a simple C program which I can compile with the simple command: gcc cluster.c -lm and it compiles fine on both Solaris and RH 5.0. However, it only runs on Solaris. On RH 5.0, it runs part way and then crashes with: Segmentation violation as the error. I have tried this with the stock

I have gone thru several C books and the best I have found is by Kelley and Pohl entitles "A Book On C". I used the third edition, there is now a fourth, almost twice as thick, so I am sure it is still just as good. However, nothing will ever be as up to date as man pages. Chuck -Original M

I did that and it tells me that it is not a valid image file. What I did to get the image file was boot to the newly installed linux partition via rescue (NT partition is first) and copy vmlinuz to a floppy. I then put the floppy in a working linux machine, mounted it and ftp'd it to my dos disk
