On my RedHat 5.0 system, my Netscape Navigator 4.04 crashes every time it
sees an "embed src=filename.mid" tag. My older Navigator 3.x does not
have a problem with this, and Navigator 4.04 on WindowsNT plays the MIDI
just fine.
It does not matter whether JAVA / JAVAscript is enabled, and adding a MIME
entry for audio/midi with extension mid and action "ask user" does not
stop the crashes.
I don't care whether the MIDI will play (though that would be nice too),
but how do I stop Netscape from crashing on these web pages?
