Hi, Recently my SGI Indy workstation(running IRIX 5.3) crashed and I had to migrate my application to a Linux box. My data are held in an external Seagate 4G SCSI hard disk. My Linux box detected the SCSI hard disk and label it /dev/sdb. My Questions : 1.What file system option should I use to mount the hard disk ? 2.I did an fdisk /dev/sdb, and it reports an invalid partition table. What can I do get back all the data ? (A cat /dev/sdb did reveal my stuff is still there, only that I cannot mount it! ) Rgds Kevin -- PLEASE read the Red Hat FAQ, Tips, Errata and the MAILING LIST ARCHIVES! http://www.redhat.com/RedHat-FAQ /RedHat-Errata /RedHat-Tips /mailing-lists To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
