Hi
I receive an email everyday from wallstreet interactive edition telling me
some the technology related headlines of the day. (Subscribed through
netscape) Today I received one that said;
Linux Steps Into the Limelight
It's been used by everyone from the makers of "Titanic" to NASA and it's
free to all comers, yet at least two firms sell it. It's an operating
system called Linux, and its backers believe that it could give Windows NT
a run for its money -- contradiction and all.
It has a link to the full article but since I don't have a subscription to
the wall street journal I couldn't read it. Did anyone out there read?
Just out of curiosity, if you did read it, could you shed some light at
what it had to say. I'm just surprised that the Wall Street Journal which
is mainly directed to the financial community would have such an article.
I guess they finally realized how much of a threat to NT (in certain
respects) it really is.
