I can confirm this bug on multiple hardy and intrepid "nv" boxes with
multiple monitors and projectors. Screen settings shows monitor not
detected. Xrandr is similarly uninformative. When I use a manually
configured xorg the monitor works properly. There needs to be an option
to manually override

Has there been any progress with this bug and its dupe ( Bug #236050)?
The only stable way I have found to use nautilus to browse a remote
share is to use ssh -Y [EMAIL PROTECTED] and run nautilus remotely. This is
obviously not ideal.

What is the status of this bug? It does not appear to be assigned to
anyone yet. I would really recommend the use the intel driver in Gutsy
as it works out of the box on many systems that were problematic
previously. The easy solution would be turn off compiz fusion for these
systems.

compiz fusion but not in metacity. Switching from xvid to x11 does not

At least for me this appears to have been fixed in the latest round of
updates (1-2 days ago). I am now able to upload and modify directories
without a crash. Before it was 100% reproducible.

I confirm that SFTP is extremely unstable in nautilus. I get this same crash
after any file system change.
Basically I am stuck using bash ssh and scp. Very crippling to anyone who
relies on remote server access.
Please let me know if you need any additional information.

not installed. I installed gvfs-bin and giolib.
I am now able to mount using gvfs-mount.
