Binary package hint: hal
After an update to linux-image-generic-2.6.27-2 my trackpad stopped
working. Plugging in an external mouse regained mouse functionality.
To get my mouse working I had to add
Option "SHMConfig" "on"
to my xorg.conf. Obviously for those who only have the minimally configured
xorg.conf this is not an option.
