I've had the same problem with both tracker and beagle and have removed
them both. Unfortunately the latest version of Nautilus requires tracker
to do any kind of searching. This is really unacceptable: It is totally
inadequate to limit searches to a directory small enough for tracker to
handle.

archive with theoretically the same file: one corrupted and one good.
File:Save resulted in the bad copy. File:Save as... and saving in a
different location resulted in the good copy.

I'm getting this behaviour about 1/3 of logins. When it happens, the
computer also doesn't respond to alt-F2. I can generate the debug
information from ubuntu-bug, but unfortunately I don't know how to

To replicate:
Activate iBus pinyin and type "deng"
What happens: some kind of misguided auto-correction feature interprets "deng"
as "de neng". This is clearly unacceptable.
What should happen: The candidates window should show characters corresponding
to the pinyin "deng"
I have this bug, but restarting doesn't help. Because of this problem:
there is no way to type Chinese in Ubuntu 14.4.

I finally got ibus-pinyin working correctly: the following steps are all
necessary and must be performed in order.
1: remove pinyin from the list of available engines
2: run the command: dconf reset -f /desktop/ibus/
3: reboot the computer
4: re-enable ibus-pinyin.

The bug report there says it's fixed already, but I seem to be getting
the same behaviour on the version of hp2ps in the latest ubuntu package.

This has been marked as "high priority fix released" for 4 months now,
but it still exists in Xenial.
