I have the same problem trying to login to a WPA Personal encrypted network. Like the original reporter of this bug, I could connect fine under hardy. Here's what my windows machine says about the network: (it's using an identical wireless card) Network-Authentication: WPA-PSK Data Encryption: TKIP
In Intrepid, I am getting the same response regardless of whether I use linux atheros driver or ndiswrapper, so this is probably not a driver problem. Unfortunately I don't have a copy of Hardy anymore and I'm not sure which package to downgrade, or even how to convince dpkg to downgrade a package. -- [b43] Intrepid upgrade/can't connect to wpa network https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292368 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
