I am also having this problem. I am following the documentation and have
completed all required steps. I have verified that the DNS is working
properly and have run 'lw-get-dc-name', which works perfectly. The error
message I get when trying to join is the following:

machine account, so it is contacting the server, but failing to join for

Thank you so much for taking this issue seriously and for your precious
time spent on investigation. I performed a fresh Lucid install, and can
now confirm that the ODS spreadsheet prints out correcly as before. The
only thing is the warning that the are transparent objects in the
doc
I tried kb1605 workaround. It only works with "click on touch" mode.
This is fine for opening programs, tapping menus but useless if you
intend to use the stylus to draw or write on the screen with something
like xournal.
I have yet to try Ernesto's suggestions. More later...

I just installed Kamal's "scien+i915bri" build, and unfortunately the
fix has regressed for me also on a Studio 1558. The machine hangs
trying to suspend, locks up, and rapidly drains the battery. Note this
is a different symptom from the pre-fix kernel, which would suspend, but
crash on resume.
No luck, both the scien and the scien+i915bri kernels behave the same,
and busy-hang during suspend before the backlight is powered down. I'm
going to back out to the 2.6.32-21 fix in comment #5 and verify that
something else hasn't broken.

out that the configuration change that caused this bug is the presence
of a uSD card in the card reader. Take it out and both -21 and scien

Okay, I feel very dumb right now, but I fixed my webcam. Duh. There is
a keyboard hardware-switch combo to turn it on or off. Fn+F6 (blue

latest alsa code from svn.
We got it going for a Dell Inspiron 15 with a slightly different
technique.

way the system was build was using make DESTDIR=/arch/pkg/32/gnome-

On further checking, it seems there are newer kernels/ramdisks in EU
now, but I can't seem to launch an instance with one...
