Binary package hint: gwibber
In the Gnome panel, there are two Gwibber-related options: from the
accounts menu (where I can set chat status, and the options include
"Chat Accounts", "Broadcast Accounts", and "Ubuntu One", and from the
mail icon (where the options are "Set Up Chat", "Set Up Mail", "Set Up
Broadcast Account", and Pidgin). But, confusingly, "Broadcast Accounts"
brings up the Gwibber account management window, while "Set Up Broadcast
Account" brings up the main Gwibber window where I can see messages.
It's also frustrating that Gwibber is two clicks away; I liked it much
better when Gwibber had its own icon on the panel, rather than sharing
it with other social programs (and splitting functions between two
different icons).
