I'm getting this error, and I always lose my dual-head setup, which I described using KRandTray.
I also was getting some messages about not having write access to my home directory, and to a few files, for example: ~/.kde/share/config/kcminitrc ~/.kde/share/config/drkongirc and a couple of others that I missed (sorry).
