I installed Hardy from a LiveCD, and never edited /etc/papersize, but always
had my current north american locale.
I upgraded to intrepid with the command line (oh, possibly with the Update
Manager? or a combination?)

In ALSA mixer control, even when I choose in the Preferences to have
"headphone" slider turned on, no "headphone" slider is visible.

is impossible to edit any math in cells of a table that extend off the
screen to the right, ie a table which is wider than the screen.
When in such a cell, moving the cursor over

All export functions in LyX are broken. That means you cannot produce a PDF,
HTML!
One can get at a PDF file by choosing to view PDF and then asking the viewer to

Still the case for me in the latest Gutsy. Nothing at all has been
deleted in >6 months for me, in logarithmic mode. I am not sure that
anyone is maintaining this software, though. It might need someone to
step forward and dig into code ...
I'm using an ssh target. Are you others, too?
