Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gftp

Using latest Gutsy.

When command-line ftp says:

> ftp www.econ.ubc.ca
ftp: connect: Connection timed out

gftp tries, hangs, and crashes with a core dump.

I haven't tried multiple sites... I don't know how to find ftp servers
which time out in general.

Correct behaviour would be to give up and report a timed out connection.

** Affects: gftp (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
