I'm trying to configure my box with iptables to port forward to a

the iptable setups I've tried get freaked out at the fact that traffic

Also, go into your BIOS settings and turn off the power management

You can do it one of two ways...nowadays, starting with 7.3, there's also
the "ip" command, which works very similarly to Cisco's IOS ip command.
In fact, it works better for systems that might be doing firewalling, as
iptables doesn't really seem to like to reference ethx:x interfaces in the
ifconfig, or the newer "ip" command.

If I understand the question:
1. You have a Web site at your ISP.
2. You download [some] pages to your local Web server.
3. You want Apache to reference pages not downloaded
relative to the hosted Web server rather than to the local
document root.
If this is correct, perhaps look at
http://httpd.
Okay, I know, check google and the docs, but I KNOW how to do this, at
least I did. How does one find out their systems IP info? I know it's
something like ipcfg or some such, but I can't remember atm.
