Linux Routing

Can someone please tell me the easiest way to route all traffic through a RedHat Linux box. I would like to pass all data transparently from eth1 (inside) to eth0 (outside) and vice versa.   I have read all of the advanced Linux routing HOWTO’s and they just make me feel dumb. I understand the concepts, but everything I try does not work.   Thanks in advance,   Joshua Metcalf
