It was less than obvious (to me at least) that installing cups-bsd does not
also
turn it on. Eventually realized it was probably to be called from inet or xinet
and uncommented packages included cups-bsd line in the inetd.conf file.

Hi Daniel
Probably. I do not know the code enough to make that kind of patch
however.
I have checked the bug database "upstream" and no issue seems to have been
reported there and as far as I can tell upstream do not have a dual display
either.
Best regards,

Python 3.0 has many bugs which results in corrupted data. It should never ever
hit unstable. Most bugs should be fixed in 3.0.1
It will be useful to have it in experimental to port packages to python3k. But
it would also be nice to have python2.6 so we can do some preporting work with
`python2.6
A workaround is
function s { less "$@" /dev/null;}
but two wrongs don't make a right.

Yauhen, in the meanwhile, could you please try to reproduce the bug with
libx11-6-dbg and libx11-xcb1-dbg packages installed and show the crash
backtraces again?
At least we would know what procedure in libx11 crashed and what exact
reasoning XCB gave.
You can freely remove the packages ment

According to [1] the problem is with Tk 8.4.
Googling also suggests this.
Tk bugtracker has no records mentioning XCB, libxcb or the
"xcb_xlib_lock" function though.
