Confirmed today on an x86-64 2.6.24 kernel build as well. This is compounded for me by the breakage in kernel-package's ability to build a working kernel-headers package, but I've worked around that for now and am going to see about installing the unstable fix for that soon.
Is there any forthcoming answer for this? I was expecting that by delaying my 2.6.24 upgrade by several months issues like this would be sorted out by now.
