Package: git-buildpackage
Version: 0.4.43
Severity: normal

Hi, I'm using g-b-p with the pristine-tar option and a separate build
directory (build-area).
After running g-b-p, I have two tarballs in my build-area directory
, e.g.

[..]
-rw-r--r-- 1 michael michael 1115925 17. Dez 00:55
rsyslog_3.18.6.orig.tar.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 michael michael 4485120 17. Dez 00:55
rsyslog_3.18.6.orig.tar.gz.tmp
[..]

I can't pin point the exact date, when this started to happen.
As g-b-p hasn't been updated for a while and the last pristine-tar
update is from 12.12, it might as well be a bug in pristine-tar (or the
interaction between g-b-p and pristine-tar).

Please reassign accordingly.

Cheers,
Michael
