When I made fdisk list my partition table, I couldn't detect any overlapping
partition either. But when calculating the actual size of the partitions (by
multiplying with the block size) you could see a partition overlapped another.
I found a tool however, a powerful piece of software which auto
I could not find it either. It's getting included by other big
distributions, so it would be nice (and good for the kernel quality) if
Ubuntu would include and enable it too.

I'm afraid so. Those five buttons in Evolution make a click-sound twice when
clicked.
I discovered the same behaviour with the "Open" toolbar-button (next to "New")
in gedit.

Sadly no .Crash file is created, it seems more that the screensaver
hangs.
To provide some more information, I ran gnome-screensaver-preferences
(displaying the crashing screensaver) in strace, the log is included.

Another comment (sorry for the double post), I've run all screensavers on
another Hardy installation (7.10 -> 8.04 upgrade, with regular "aptitude
full-upgrade"s), and I did not come across the specific screensaver which
crashes my main PC :s

Works in Karmic, but not perfectly: it needs two taps on the "Eject"
button. The first one unmounts the volume, the second one ejects the
