Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-media
I see that on Hardy Heron, the volume OSD now fades in and fades out. However, when I re-adjust the volume at the time the OSD is fading out, it doesn't fade in again, is just stops at the point I started re-adjusting the volume. So: [* Disable NumLock to activate the media keys (bug which has been reported plenty of times)] * Adjust the volume with a media button on your keyboard, so the OSD fades in * Wait untill the OSD starts fading out, but before it's faded out completely, re-adjust the volume * The OSD will stop at the point you started adjusting the volume again (which makes it badly visible) Not really a bug, but not a feature either, as the OSD is hardly visible sometimes due to this behaviour. Using gnome-media 2.20.1-1ubuntu1 on Hardy Heron. ** Affects: gnome-media (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: control fade gnome-media osd volume -- gnome-media OSD behaves incorrectly on volume re-adjust before OSD has fully faded out. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/185898 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
