That would be great. In fact, something I wanted to propose was to do the same thing (or at least the monolingual packages thing) to the es-ca pair. As I've discussed some times in the past with you, we'd be interested in trying to generate the catalan monolingual out of the dictionary that we maintain at Softcatalà (used as the base to generate spellcheckers like hunspell, or grammar checkers like LanguageTool), as that dictionary gets updated very often, and if all ca-* language pairs were using the same monolingual all could benefit from that.
