Daniel, I believe William means changing your AGP card to x4 in your bios, instead of x8. I won't be home until tomorrow, so can't test this yet, but I will the first chance I get.
But, I do remember that with a very early version of Fedora, the only way I could boot in to the installed version was to change my AGP from x8 to x4. Hmm... So, it will be interesting to try this when I get the chance.
