modules-cw-3.4-precise-generic in order to get alx. After updating to
12.10, I noticed that linux-backports-modules-cw-3.4-3.2.0-40-generic

@Simon - Thanks for clarifying! Now everything works. To sum up:
(1) When using 12.04, my ethernet wasn't working (I have Atheros AR9485
wireless and AR8162 wired), so I installed linux-backports-modules-
cw-3.4-precise-generic and switched to alx. All was well.
(2) Later on, I updated to 12.10 (
I am also using Raring (13.04). Same issue. I had to install apparmor-
utils (and 26 other extra packages) to use nass's workaround, but it
worked!

I think it was a problem with some config files. I create a new KDevelop
project and copied over all my source code and know everything works :)

Yes. This is affecting my too...and I would imagine that a dual screen
system with primary monitor on the right is a pretty common arrangement.
Having to move the pointer to the left of the secondary (left) screen to
reveal the launcher on the primary (right) screen is a bit silly (and
annoying).
Well, I reinstalled 11.04 and did a fresh installl of sabnzbdplus, and it
seems to work now.

Another "bug" that seems to suggest that Unity is designed only for toy
netbooks.
The emphasis on one application at a time (rather than windowed
applications) is a bit like using DOS once more.

I just installed 11.04 and got very confused and frustrated by the help
files because of this. I was looking in particular at the help page
titled, "Activities, dash, top bar... What are they?".
A quick search of the help file seems to find lots of references to
"Activities overview". Anyway I hop
It worked fine for me too until this kernel...
Wireless now drops and becomes unusable...
