Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubiquity
Ubiquity was in the process of installing Natty Alpha 3. I said there was an I/O error because of a dirty or faulty CD, or a dirty drive lens. This would be my fault of course, but Ubiquity should gracefully close down and not crash. BTW, the slideshow kept running and apport popped up explaining what needed to be done from there, but the terminal inside Ubiquity disappeared and installation stopped. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/741400 Title: Ubiquity crashed with dirty CD -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
