I have the same bug. Apparently, sage likes to run this command:

How to solve this: edit /var/lib/dpkg/info/xorg-driver-fglrx.postrm ;
make sure that lines that start with .1.2 end in .1.2 and lines that
start with .1 end in .1; then you can remove it. Then you can go to
/var/lib/dpkg/diversions and resolve the other diversions manually after
it uninstalls.

Gateway T-1616 with dual-core amd64 processor and an integrated

I get the same behaviour when I start xterm with +u8.
xterm -u8 behaves properly however, as does xterm without any command
line options.
Maybe you can use -u8 as a workaround?

Apparently, it checks the cron file for these patterns of stars (there are five
positions, they are numbered 0,1,2,3,4):

Yup, specimen doesn't show up on the desktop. As well, specimen doesn't
even appear to work without jackd, even though it doesn't require jackd,

nothing to do with the kernel, so I have changed the package setting.

Compiz no longer uses gconf. Somebody was going to reintroduce support
for gconf, but they gave up due to lack of time. If somebody else could
add gconf support back, that would be awesome, but as of right now, this
bug is irrelevant.

thumbnail repeatedly. The problem is that it fails because parts of the
file are downloaded and parts aren't. And takes all available CPU power
in failing. It would be nice if it didn't try thumbnailing bittorrent
files, or didn't
