Yes, as of 12.04. What is really wierd is if I set Sticky edges to ON,
then I can't move my cursor from monitor to monitor. I really suspect
this is a bug but I haven't yet reported it. The main reason being is
that I don't know what it is SUPPOSED to do. What are "Sticky edges"?

disaster for me. I was using Netbeans 7.1.1 so I did a complete removal

It is clearly not obvious that it should be connected to dropbox. In fact it
took me a while to find where the connection was. It is however connected to
dropbox. I have solved the problem personally in that I now never ask to open a
dropbox window. Instead I right click on File and choose Open

This morning there was a new kernel 3.19.0-25 so I updated again. The problem
still exists.
While trying to do the update I noticed that 3.19.0-20 had some problem with
aport.grub (not sure of the spelling).
Since the problem is at boot I decide to drop back to 3.19.0-18 which reported
no errors

Many times I did a usb flash drive boot for 15.10, 64 bit. Only for 15.10
was there a problem. Using dd in place of startup disk creator solved the
problem. So I can't confirm what is said on Ask Ubuntu. There however
nobody seemed to try dd.

I would like to remove this bug. It turns out that Evince has its own
Color <--> Gray scale choice which doesn't look at the values defined in
the Printer Options. Probably when I updated from 12.04 to 12.10 the
Evince values got reset. The reason it is still working correctly on the
other computer

In order to reduce Internet time I downloaded a CD and updated both computers
from the same CD. It could be that the CD is missing the png file for the icon
you have showing.
If you can tell me the file name and location I can check it. Likewise, if you

pulse audio. I wanted to use it for skype calls. The camera is fine but
the pulse audio is completely unreliable. If I call the echo service, it
may or may not replay my voice with no reliable way to predict

Unreliable resp
Hi Gunnar,
I just did an update to the software to check out your new fix. I didn't see
any apparent change. Maybe it hasn't yet made it to the usual repository? I
just used the gear control to get software updates. I have no problem waiting a
few more days if it needs to filter down.

I went to synaptic and installed lightdm-gtk-greeter. I didn't have it
installed.
also the greeter session was unity-greeter.
Also added the true for the show language bar.
Did a reboot and now it appears. I must say that in my opinion the greeter is
nicer than unity.

settings etc. When changing to high contrast that icon disappears so
that you can no longer access shut down, system settings etc.
