While this is not a security issue, it is an issue which may cause hardware
damage.
Turning the monitor on and off 10+ times during a boot can't add health to the
monitor itself.

This morning it took 3 failed attempts to boot up the computer.
I thought perhaps manually turning off and on the monitor might help.
It didn't. There is some loop in the boot code, at exactly the time where it
presents the dialog which user to choose, which turned off again my manually
turned on monitor. It will continue to audio click away, turning off and on the
monitor.
The end result is I can't use the computer. The only solution is to hardware
turn off the computer itself and hope that maybe the next time around it just
might catch itself in a good state without the endless loop when it is asking
which user to choose.
