The patch on #39 solved the problem.
However, after applying #40, and then #41 I was able to enable the
touchpad. But disabling wasn't working consistently.
After reboot, the touchpad is working, and the enable/dissable feature

wasn't interacting with the bar. I was interacting with firefox, the
