Which part of the process does the issue occur with, the suspend to ram, or
resuming from?
The network interface is not showing, thus no networks appear in the network
manager. Consequently, there is no internet.

Shutting the lid of the laptop, which is set to suspend on close.

allows one attachment and the instructions ask for not compressed files)
