Nice work. I now drop a slightly modified file r-cran-rcmdr.desktop into
/usr/share/applications and it gets picked up automatically on Ubuntu 8.10
with KDE 4.1 and Debian testing with KDE 3.5. The new menu entry appears in
both Education->Mathematics and Education->Science with KDE 4.1
