Renamed the png to svg? Or replaced the png with (one of) the svg file(s) ?

I assume the latter and I updated my snippet accordingly to expect an icon
file name ending in .svg.

Well, yes, but Pietro and I use Debian/Ubuntu and install 'binary' packages
produced from the tar.gz, similar to the Windows packages. And it is at that
layer that I doing the extra little bit to make sure the .desktop file lands
in /usr/share/applications/.

| Please let me know if there's problem.

Should be fine -- many thanks for the quick cooperation on this!

Cheers, Dirk
