In the latest upload of xapian-core, libxapian changed its soname from
30 to 29 and a new binary package libxapian29 appeared out of nowhere.
If this were intended, the package would have needed to go threw NEW,

dpkg does not know how to handle automatically, and not being
able to force an upgrade is a reasonable safety measure.
Overall, the issue you encountered to me seems behaviour to be expected
and I tend to at least downgrade the bug's severity, if not close it.

ipxe-qemu 1.21.1+git20220113.fbbdc3926+dfsg-1, currently in the
deferred queue, has the roms moved to /usr/share/qemu. According to my
tests and as you stated, qemu picks up the roms from the new location

Your statement seems unrelated to bug #990954. Can you please elaborate
on how ProtonVPN and Firewalld affects kodi? Please also state which
version of kodi fixed the issue.

last change to the sed call under suspicion happened in dnsmasq 2.79-1.
Is this bug still visible for you? If so, can you provide a hint how to
