Debian ;)
Just my 2 cents.

I recorded 2 videos with a Canon PowerShot SX 200 IS digital camera.
Upon connecting it via USB/PTP gnome starts up gthumb in import mode
which says "No images found".
I was able to mount, copy and delete the videos (e.g. MVI_0005.MOV)

ooo-thumbnailer 0.2-1, which is still waiting for sponsorship, fixes
this bug. However, it doesn't do it in the same way you did it, Jakub
Wilk. Could your review it for me? I've already posted a RFS at the
debian-python mailing list.

The imaxima interface needs the LaTeX breqn package to work, which is
contained in texlive-latex3 (in sid); however maxima-emacs doesn't
depend on that package.
This can be reproduced by starting imaxima in emacs (without having

I used

That was successful. I could then mount and browse the file system in
rescue mode.
However when I rebooted back into the target system it

Marcus, can you please tell me what's your (host) graphics card
and host kernel version? I suspect the problem really is not
in kvm but in host video driver, but I might be completely wrong.
There are several points about this issue.

Hi!
I wonder, is there someone actually reading this bugreport? It's been
ages since it got reported and I know from several people that are
facing the same issue, too, so it's not a single-person's problem...

Bastian, is the problem you reports in #528077 is still
relevant for current qemu-kvm (0.11.0 and above)? I tried
using XEN in a kvm guest even before version 0.84 (against
which you filed the original bugreport), I think it was 0.81

Tested in Lenny 5.0.3, packages have been installed correctly with no
